If I really wanted an accurate rifle I would have stayed with my 788 years back. Im addicted to buying and selling guns, my wife calls me a gunnut...I think she's right.
Only wanting to give a Cooper a try cause guys seem to like them and them seem to be decent shooters.

Sounds like a good reason to me! I dont know how many rifles I have bought and sold, some I have just built up and sold without shooting...its an addiction really

Well the store with the 75 didn't come through witha deal. Wanted $1550 and wouldn't move at all below that. Despite lots of other places clearing out their 75's for less than $1300.
So I think I'll keep looking for a good deal. I think I'd still prefer 308 just for ammo availability.
