sako 75 in 6.5x55

. Well I will answer that question..but only to keep this thread going!..I figure eventually the anti bolt lock guys will work themselves up into a real frenzy and declare that a bolt locked Sako 75 should be discounted by $800 and thats when I intend to buy more :)...but the reason I transport even non-restricted firearms with locks is because it please me to.......:)

... but since you asked - I almost always either go to my cottage (for pleasure and hunting) or my farm (after/before visiting a local range and occasionally for coyotes) so, since I dont keep locks or bother with installing a locker at either of these locations..I take appropriate locks with me and so that I dont forget ...the locks are placed on the firearms when I leave home. Incidentally occasionally I have to stay at a motel mid trip to the cottage because of bad weather...if I leave the firearm in the vehicle then...I ensure its locked, bolt removed (stays with me) and magazine removed...if it has one. I stay in some pretty seedy motels. But the bottom line is I do what pleases me.

Now is there anyone with a bolt locked Sako 75 that wants to get rid of that 'POS' for say...$600??? I am a motivated buyer!!!

If I ever have a Sako 75 with a locking bolt to sell, I will add $200 to the price just for you, since you think that locking bolts are such a great idea.

Some people get it, others don't.

First time I see a Sako bolt lock.

I'm glad my 2X 75's don't have this ugly feature.
