Limbsaver makes a pre-fit pad for the Sako 75.
part # 10011, for Sako 75 and Tikka T3, I have one on my Finnlight. Don't really need it on a .308, but I already had it laying around, so why not?
I've thought about changing the recoil pad on my 75. Anyone know what the average shop would charge to do the replacement?
So just cut the old one off, sand, drill, done?
Limbsaver and never look back!
I had John @ Corlane Sports, Dawson Creek B.C. install a Pachmayer grind-to-fit type on my laminated Graywolf. According to him he's installed about 250 of these in the past.
At the same time he trimmed the stock so that I'd have a comfortable
13-1/2" stock measurement.
He also installed a Mercury Suppressor.
I watched most of the installation and I'd never take a chance cutting a stock and installing the grind-to-fit type of pad.
It looks like a factory job !!!
