Sako 85 ejection problem with 30 mm Scope Tube?

I bought a Sako 85 Hunter 270 Win in left hand and have a Zeiss Conquest 3-9 40mm Scope with a 1 inch Tube which is good and the Brass ejects easily but I want to upgrade to a Scope with a 30 mm Tube and I have heard the the Brass hits the Tube or the windage knob when ejecting and sometimes falls back in.This seems to be a problem with Sako 85s.Somebody told me awhile ago that it happens sometimes but because I am left handed and the windage knob is on the otherside it will not be a problem for me but I am cautious as it might be actually hitting the Tube itself which would mean I bought a $1,200 Scope for nothing.Does anybody have any experience with this?I do not want to use higher Rings as they mount high enough as it is.

I mounted a Leupold Vx3 2.5-8x36 in low Leupold rings on a Sako 85 and it would not clear spent cases. Empties kicked up into the bottom of the turret housing and fell back into the action. Very disappointing for a Sako.

For hunting scope turning it so the elevation becomes windage and windage elevation will get you going just fine. So its unorthodox, big deal, so is being left handed in a right handed world. A dead moose won't know your scope was on weird. I'm willing to be a few guys are walking around with scopes on their rifles like that right now and don't know the difference.
