I recently bought a Sako 85 laminate stainless in 22-250 as my coyote gun and have a Nightforce 2.5-10x32 Milot scope that I was going to put on a Tavor, long story short, I got a Vortex on the tavor now and was thinking of using the nightforce on the Sako.
Any thoughts? Not enough scope, too small objective lens etc?

Thanks

Personally, I like a little more top end magnification on a coyote gun, but that's jsut me. 10x is probably fine unless you are reaching way out there. Larger objectives may look bad-ass, but only really pay off if you are shooting in low light. I'd say use the Nightforce on the Sako and see how you like it. It's already paid for and is a fantastic quality scope. After a couple of outings, if you find the scope too dim or under-magnified then think about something else. I think it is too good of a scope to not at least try out.

Just my 2 cents worth...

I'm going to go with it, especially since I took the scope out without the rifle at dusk and it was nice and clear up to it going to dark to legally shoot. I really like the build quality of the Nightforce so I'm hoping it's a perfect match.
