I have just recently mounted a leupold VX3i-LRP 8.5-25 onto my Sako 85 LR in 338 Lapua. Now due to the availability of canted rails for the sako, i decided to go with Burris signature zee rings. They only came with +/- 10 inserts which i installed properly (-10 on bottom of front, +10 on bottom of rear) and after doing a quick bore site (remove bolt, look down the barrel to see target and then adjust scope so that your close) i only have just over 1 full rotation of elevation up left. If i didnt have the canted inserts I would have hardly any elevation adjustment at all. Am i missing something? I expected more from such an expensive gun. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Not that it really helps you in your case, but I have my NXS mounted on OptiLock rings, and my zero is pretty much centred up and down, if not a bit on the "down" side of it.

I would guess it is a ring issue, more than a gun or optic issue. I don't have any experience with Burris rings, though.
