sako 85 moa guarantee

I have owned two Sako 85s, one a Bavarian Full Stock in 6.5x55 that averaged 5/8 moa with my loads, the other a Varmint Laminate Stainless in 223rem that shot sub 1/2moa with my loads. Two friends have Finnlights, and they don't do nearly as well, both around moa.

I uhh, don't mean to be a #### about it or anything, but... You let someone else shoot it? See if they get the same results?

The Sako 85's in my experience have been under 1" at 100 yards.
I did a 7" 3 shot group at a 1000 yards one time.

Make sure all fasteners are torqued correctly, ensure that there is no oil ( even finger prints) on any scope mounting surfaces even the scope itself.

Scope may not hold zero and bench technique could be some of the reason, what scope?

The 175gr ELDx is marginally stable in a 1:9.25 twist barrel. The closer to sea level you shoot, the worse it is

Take a look at the bedding, then try H4831sc under the 168gr Berger Classic Hunter. Adjust charge weight of powder until chrony says 2870 fps, should be in the ballpark of 63-64 grains. That should shoot very well
