Sako 85 Recoil Lug Setup - any Problems?

I have several 85s, with the variety of blocks, including a 375H&H. The design seems odd but it works and there is no cracking or any signs of fatigue in any of my stocks.

Yeah, I hear you. Not something I'm real eager to do either. I was hoping to hear that this Rube Goldberg of a recoil device works, despite its weirdness. And it seems some think so. I'm leaning towards leaving well enough alone.
