Sako 85 Rings.

I am asking for my brother...
About 6 months ago he bought a stainless, synthetic Sako 85 in .270 WSM.
He also bought a stainless Leupold VXIII. I am not sure of the exact power, but I know that it is a 40mm objective.
The only rings he could find were medium height, but he wants low or ultra low stainless Sako rings, and is having a hell of a time finding them.
Does anyone know where such a beast can be found? Wholesale sports has none, and he has been to quite a few sporting goods stores in Montana, also with no luck.

Will the ultra low rings work with this scope? I think they should but it will be close. Has anyone used this combo?
Does anyone know where a set of either height (low or ultra low stainless) can be found in for model 85 Sako?

Extra-low should work fine. Phone Stoeger Canada and see if they have them in stock. If so, any dealer can order them. 905-436-9077

I dont think Stoeger has any Optiloks in stock, or else Id have mine for my 338 Fed. I will be selling them anyways, as I have got Leupold rings which work just fine.
