Sako 85 SS vs Kimber 84M Montana

Which one is a better hunting rifle?

I'm thinking .308 for deer and moose.

Which one would you choose and why?

Actions, weight, length, twist rate?

I'd like to add Leupold 2x-7x, 28mm ultralight, 8.2 oz scope to either one.

We have 'em both in the shop and the Kimber is a much nicer finished rifle, nicer wood, nicer fitting, slimmer, just all around a much nicer rifle....does that make it better for hunting? Probably not......but I'd take the Kimber, although neither is my cup of tea.

Both have a great trigger but the Kimber 84 has CRF vrs. push feed for the Sako.

I know little about the 85 but I like the 75 a lot. I also like the 8400 too. That's why I'm picking one up very soon.

I say go with Kimber.
Sako is, every time when introduces new product, givin up on quality.
