Terry at BARC ai punched my a7 243 that I picked up off the EE for a steal. Done perfectly with a slight crush fit on 243 factory. Brass comes out perfect. I fireformed some brass with 35gr imr4320 and a 100gr hornady and did a pressure/fps test with 95gr btips and h4831. I decided to shoot the last 3 at a left over target at the range at 200 yards instead of ringing the gong. 46gr, 46.5gr and 47gr shot one after the other with no cool down are touching at 200 yards. 2981fps 3015fps and 3042fps respectively. Load development will be short and sweet. Just need to figure out how to modify the magazine to feed the ai cases now and then hopefully get a nice buck this year with it.

My well worn 243ai is a favorite on mine. I'm using H4350 with a 90gr lapua or a 80gr ttsx out of it this fall for hunting. I have shot most mid weight bullets out of mine with good results from reloader 17, H414 H-4350 and H-4831.

I'm not sure how the A7 mag is configured bu I'm sure a few min with a dremel and or a file with have it feeding well. Good luck with it this fall.

I got the magazine thing sorted out. Feeds AI and regular 243 ammo. I had some 80gr ttsx loads loaded with h4350 left from a rem 700 243 my wife had and they shot under an inch at 3160 fps avg. Also tried factory 100gr winchester pp and they also shot under an inch at 2975 fps avg. So at least I have two options to fall back on if I run out of time putting my 95gr btip load together before the 11th of Nov when I'm headed out. Stupid time change gives me an hour less sunlight after work now to do anything.
