Sako A7 discontinued.

I see on Sako's website the A7 has been moved into the "Old Models" category.

Discontinued I'd say.

I wonder if they will replace it with a new model.

Yes, the T3 had a 12 year head start on the A7.

The A7 had been getting more aftermarket support but too late.

With recent prices for new stainless synthetic T3's hitting the $1000 mark the price gap between the 2 narrowed.

I'll bet Sako won't replace the A7. The T3 has that price slot.

Good to hear, I did a trade deal for mine. I have shot the tikka and loved them. Love the bolts on them. What sold me on the Sako was the short action, shorter bolt throw and being able to open the bolt with the safety on. Also like the cheekpad on the stock. Topping it with my Nikon Monarch 3 4-16x50 BDC. Hoping for a good shooter!

and you can still put the longer bolt stop and use LA magazine even on SA calibers if really that is a problem ...

The S20 looks interesting. So, a Roughtech Tikka,.....that should sell.

I have a like NIB A7 Roughtech Pro in 6.5 Creedmoor sitting here.....might have to hang on to it....nah,.....
