SAKO ammo.

People's thoughts or opinions. I bought some to sight in a rifle and she seems to be constant. Does anybody know who makes the brass?

tagged for interest: I have always "assumed" Lapua but have no evidence of this...

They have their own cartridge plant, and yes while they use things like Nosler/Barnes etc bullets, they are still a manufacturer, as opposed to say someone like browning who have their logo applied to alot of products made by others. Certainly within the RWS/RUAG/Lapua family, as well as Norma and Sako there has been crossover, they are still effectively all manufacturers. In Sakos case, even after the amalgamation of their production they still make their casings, and some of the bullets they use (at least last I heard).

I come from europe and I have been hunting for years using sako ammunition in .300 win mag and 9.3x62, very accurate ammunition and perfect expansion for a nice killing power. Not as good as RWS or norma ammunition but stil better than most american ammo.
Bought a box at lattulipe in quebec for moose hunting for 52$ +tax 180grain hammerhead 300win mag.

Scotland? Greece? Portugal? Iceland? Moldova? Switzerland? Poland?
I hate when people say Europe as if it a specific place. It's a continent. I don't say I'm from North America...
