Sako ammunition rebate

Hello,
I took advantage of the offer advertised by Sako for their Black Friday $20 rebate on boxes of ammunition and bought several.
The due date to redeem the offer is December 6th.

Both my son and I have submitted claims with no update other than "status pending" through what appears to be a third party website. It just seems to have vanished into the internet ether. We've been waiting over a week now.

Anyone have any luck with a claim yet?
 
My claim for the previous rebate took about 6 weeks until I received a cheque. The status will change eventually once they take a look at your submission to make sure it's complete.

Ribstaylor, the submission page says there should be a response within 48 hours of your submission.

Guess we will continue to be patient.
 
Could this mean that Sako is quitting the ammo market you think?

When was the last time you purchased factory ammo this cheap? I started getting into firearms about 8-10 years ago and I remember back then a box SP hunting ammo was 12$/box and SKS was selling for 79$!

This Sako rebate brings back such memories,lol.

They ask when you apply for the rebate if your a first time sako ammunition purchaser. So unlikely.

It says right under the rebate banner that "the form must be submitted by December20th 2020" but if you Click the "Click here button to redeem" it takes you to the rebate /offer processing page where it states that "Offer Valid November 18th to December 6th. 2020,
Form must be submitted by December 15th, 2020."

Very bad for this rebate to be so confusing which is it the 15th or the 20th? Still waiting for mine to arrive and looks like it will be here sometime this up coming week so im hoping that the deadline is the 20th not the 15th.

It's news to me that they are getting out of the ammo business as we just placed a decent order for more product. They are trying to stimulate sales in this brand and I think this is good way of getting penetration (pun intended) in to the ammo business at a time where some manufacturers are having trouble keeping up with demand. Phil.
 
Did anyone check their status on their rebate and have them come back and say its ineligible? I gave a photo of the store receipt and picture of all the boxes I purchased with lot # and barcodes showing. Like what did I do wrong? They don't even give a reason. Anyone else have this issue?

I submitted on Nov 23 and received the update on Dec 2.
 
Yah only got 4 boxes. All on one pic. But it was of whole side of the box not just a close up of barcodes, and they were upside down in the picture but they were all clear and legible. I'll send that email. That $80 back is another box of PRC ammo. ;)

&

NOTES: We have received all the information to process your submission. Thank you


I submitted our rebates on Dec.5th and received the update(s) on Dec 7th.
Has anyone received their rebate yet? Maybe someone from day one? Curious on the timeline.

My ammo has been sitting at Canpar sorting facility for about 17 days now. Idiots!

Most likely it will never make it here in time for me to send in my rebate.

THAT SUCKS!!! The deadline to submit the rebate was Dec.15th...

I'd be taking it up with Sako (Stoeger Canada) as the delay in shipping is not your fault & missing out on the rebate as a result, is brutal!
