I really don't want to sell any guns but I bought it years ago to have a decent big rifle. My dad passed away 5 years ago and I inherited an old low round count Ruger 77 7mm Remington Magnum. It was his moose gun and it became a never sell one. The Sako is just a ####s and giggles gun for me at this point because I've never shot a moose, it is exceptionally good at smashing rocks though. I wonder what the .375 is worth in very good shape because I don't see being able to hunt bison anytime soon. Is there anywhere other than here or that other gun site to look up the current value in Canada?

I am taking it with me tomorrow on one of the couple days I get to go out for our 15 day spike fork moose season. If I shoot a spike/fork moose it will cement as a never sell gun.
I've got 235's dialed in nice at about 3000. I don't think I'm pushing limits with them but that should work. Bcsteve did some amazing bullet tests years ago and the 235 actually held together really well compared to others.

It is an accurate and more flat shooting caliber than most people realize. And fits the one gun for everything even marginally acceptable for gophers

Value wise depends on condition and wood. An accurate description and some quality photos would be required. "Very good shape" is actually meaningless. Is the blueing and the wood original? What about a recoil pad? Factory? Length of pull? (from center of trigger to center of the rear edge). About what % is the blueing? Marks on the wood? Condition of the bore? (bright? any pits?)

and then a couple of quality pictures displaying each side of the stock. Show and describe any marks.

A Speer tech once told me the 235 was a bullet designed for deer sized animals.

I never did use a 375 on deer but that was my deer load.

How literal was this guy being about the definition of deer is the real question

The market is cool on these guns because of beat up imports from Sweden.

The 375 might be able to clear 1500 bucks if it's actually in NRA very good shape

Kind of a thin market for both the caliber and rifle. Most of us old enough to want one already have/had a couple.
It would have to be really pretty to bring $1500, sell at 12ish imo.
The cool kids want precision carbon fast twist beltless blah blah blah.
