Yes, sako optilocks bases will fit 85's. However also consider sako's ringmounts that don't require a separate base, or leupolds - they also attach directly to the dovetails.
Sorry I think I muddled my post, wondering if Optiloks off a Sako I,II, or III will still fit the 75/85 models. I haven't owned a Sako Model I before is the reason I'm asking and not sure if the bases are interchangeable.
They all will. I am not a big fan of the optilocks. You can get Burris bases that attach to the dovetails and take Burris Leupold or Redfield rings.

I have them on my Bavarian Carbine, and I like the ability to use extension rings with them, to obtain the proper eye relief. I used Leupold ringmounts on my Varmint stainless in 223, and they worked well.
Sakos all have those lovely integral dovetails on their receivers that allow the use of rings (made by Sako, Leupold and probably others as well) that clamp directly to the gun. Why would anyone defeat this design by attaching bases to the grooves, and then rings to the bases? More parts, more screws, increased complexity, more stuff to break or fail...yep, very appealing!
