Sako differences?

Nope. They are all different. The sako factory employs mostly women (fact!!!) so they are prone to changing their minds alot.

"honey...does this 300 ultra mag make me look fat?"

err no babe it looks great....

"ok I'm taking the .270...thanks"

They are also told that the actions are alot longer then they really are, and when you measure them they are much shorter.

The 995 is a two lug action(although they call it three) the 75 and 85 are totally different.

I had a 995 and counted three lugs..maybe it was early in the morning,...but I'm sure there were three....does one lug not contact the reciever when closed or what?

and..they are totally different than a 75/85...not sure which I prefer actually....the 995 has a plastic bottom on the magazine...the action is a lot heavier and longer than necessary for most popular hunting cartridges..mine was a 30-06...anything that will handle the 338 Lapua has to be large and long.....the sporter version (M995 TRG-S) have the same tapered Sako dovetail we are all used to....the triggers are the same except the 995 does not have the separate botton to unlock the bolt with the safety on....
