Sako Finnlight Advise

I was in the local Gun Shop and made the mistake of handling one of these.
Are they as nice as they feel?
I'm thinking 270WSM or 300 WSM

Have one in 25-06. Shoots consistent under an inch. My wife kinda assumed ownership as it fits her well. Great quality and quite accurate.

I purchased one in the 6.5 x55 and was very impressed with the stock and fit. I haven't shot mine yet but it's coming soon...

Out of 3 I had, One shot very well & the other 2 were very picky with what they shot. I have none of them left now

Sako seems to be one of the nicer off-the-shelf brands you can buy at the moment. I really like the Finnlight, but find myself drawn to the idea of a Bavarian in 6.5.

I personally prefer the Sako m75 stock and would rather have a gunsmith do the fluting than the factory job. That said I do LOVE my SAKO m75 rifles !!!!

My name here could be Sakoman, they are great guns. I prefer the stocks on the A/75 models to the 85.

Ive had the Model 75 Finnlite and have handled and ordered a Model 85 Finnlite. I prefer the model 85, don't like how the stock feels on the 75's. The 85's feel a bit lighter. For a decent quality hunting gun its great. My 85 Finnlight is costing me $1600 shipped tax inc, which was a good price.

I have one in 7mm Rem mag. Best rifle I have ever owned and like alot around here I've gone through a few now.

Decent rifle but I hate the stocks on the Sako 85.

I bought a Sako A7 and the Sako 85 and the stocks are the same. I just think for a 1600 dollar + gun they could put a decent stock on it.....
