thinking about getting another rifle for moose hunting , not that i need one as i already have a 30-06 sako deluxe ,a marlin 1895 45-70 , and a j.c.hiigins 270 win. last year i was given by my late uncles estate a, sako deluxe 338 win mag.
i am thinking about selling the 338, its just too pretty to take to the woods with all our damp weather , it's like new condition.
Now i like sako's and never tried a winchester , but iv'e been looking for a kimber montana and can't seem to find one. the sako is almost twice the price as the winchester, was wondering what people who have them think about them , probably not the class as the sako , but with a little work it should make a nice accurate rifle. and with the , less expensive rifle can get much better optics.
it will be a sako finnlight 30-06 , or the model 70 extreme in 30-06 or in 338 win mag. do any one of you guys have one in 338 win mag that can give me a little imput on recoil. ? have had 338 win mag in the past , a remington custom ks in 338 that i shot a lot and didn't mind the recoil at all
regards
