Does anyone know what bullet weight does Sako test there model 85 Greywolf rifles with? Caliber 300 WSM.
Also if you have one of these rifles what reloading data works best in your rifle?

Thanks

I have the bavarian and use h4350 and 165 sst's to.8 moa out to 300 so far, will be trying heavier bullets soon. It did take a few recipes to get there. It looks like barnes bullets in there new line of ammo(see there site).

The m75 Greywolf 300WSM that I had but sold to a friend shot 180gr Accubonds with Retumbo or WS 780 with Federal 215 primers very nicely...cant recall load as I kept my m75ss 300WM over the 300WSM. My 300WM shoots the 180gr AB's with about 74gr of RL22 with 215 primers.

I shoot the 180gr TTSX bullets in my Sako 75 Deluxe 300WSM. The 175 LRX's require 1-10 twist, and my rifle is 1-11. Not sure if the 85's are tighter twist or not.

My Finnlight m85 300 WSM likes 57.5 g of RL15 with 168 g TTSXs (cci250 primers) - .average 3- shot group is 0.92" at 100 yards (3 of 4 groups went sub moa) with ave. velocity of 3050 fps - not the fastest load but very comfortable to shoot. I've tried Vihtavouri n550 and n560, RL17, H4350, with 168 ttsx and H100V with 180 Etip.
Planning on trying Varget and IMR 4831 next with 168 TTSX next (r
Have run out of RL 15).
