Sako M995 to a 460 Wby

I would agree, as long as your screws stay tight it shouldn't be an issue after looking at my M995. There is very shallow grove for the lug to catch the barrel, but I noticed that my T3 has the same design. Its not a concern on normal recoiling rifles, but may be on ones with a very high recoil. Though the Tikkas max out at a 338 Winchester, so it not big deal for them.

Hell if your going to do it, go all the way (.500 A-SQUARE). I personally own a .378WBY on a BRNO 602 action, and it will handle anything on this planet.
