Sako Optilock. Where to get them?

Good day all,

I'm looking for Sako Optilock rings and bases but can't find any dealers who got them. Anyone knows where to find them?

Couple years back I went looking for their one piece ring mounts for a Tikka T3...finally gave up. Couldn't find a source anywhere in N. America. Did find some price info on 'em, though, sure ain't cheap!!!

An alternative, depending on what you're putting them on, is the Burris Signatures, which use the same principle. Can be had for the Tikkas, but I don't think for the Sako's special integral rails.

For the Tikka T3, I went with Leupold #54447 bases (Check this part number with supplier), and Burris Signature medium rings (40mm objective)...

Worked out really good, very clean and solid.
 
I have a NIB set of the very hard to find Sako Optilock Ringmounts for sale in the Optics EE if you are interested. Lot better set up than the seperate rings and bases in my opinion.

264magnum, my scope objective is 50mm, I don't think the Low 1" ringmounts whould fit? What do you think?

Sako's website says 56mm diameter is max with a standard contour barrel. Depends what the the outside diameter of your objective lens is but it would be close. Most likely need a little higher mount.

A 50mm objective would work fine with Low ring mounts (assuming you have a 1" tube).
 
We have most Optilock rings and bases in stock for Sako and Tikka. We also carry other manufactures rings and bases for these rifles including Leupold, Millet and Burris. Phil.

Thanks again guys,

My scope tube is 1'' but the rifle barrel is a large contour varmint barrel. I also intend to install butler creek lens covers on the scope. I'll have to take some measurements once I get the scope in a few weeks. At least now I know where to look for to get the mounts.
