Sako Quad Heavy Barrel / T-bolt

I'm looking for a heavy barrel rimfire bolt action rifle(22lr or 22 mag). Not sure what to get. I've been looking at the Quad and the T-bolt. Anyone shoot one either of these? How are they? Anyone know if the Finnfire is still offered new anywhere?

I have a Quad with a Lijia barrel on it and the thing is a tack driver. Not exactly exactly what you would call a cheap .22Lr ( got a Manners stock on it as well). I built it for a trainer and with Lapua Standard plus at 50y it is one raged hole for 10 shots, under 1 inch if I do my part at 100y.

I have no experience with the T-bolt, but the Quad is a very nice rifle. Mine is the synthetic with a regular profile barrel and I couldn't imagine selling it.

I have the same setup as johnny boy. Insanely accurate with Eley Match (what the chamber was cut for).

where did you chaps get your lijla barrels for the quads? looking for another accurate bolt, have a T/C R55 that shoots a 3/8 hole at 50 yards, semi auto. Prefer a bolt for training youngsters

If I were to put a new barrel on the rifle today, I would go with a Shilen. They've been doing better than Lilja in the ARA benchrest matches for the last few years.

The nice thing with the Quad is that you can switch between a varminter/sporter barrel with the factory stock as well as change calibers!

I own the t-bolt in varmit 22lr and I think it's pretty accurate also the pull push bolt design is pretty slick and quick.
