Hello all,
I finally got my sako quad and out to the gopher patch yesterday. What a fun caliber(17hmr). I wish I had one of these years ago.
My question is to all you other 17 hmr guys and gals. Feeding the last round out of a mag is a real PITA. It doesnt like to feed correctly. I think it catches on the mag but that doesnt make sense because it should do it every round. It doesnt. Last round only. You have to be quite forceful with it compared to the other rounds.
I have two 5 shot mags and 4 9 shot mags. It is consistant with all of them so I just ended up dropping the mag as soon as I felt the pressure and boom goes right in.
Is it some form of a last round indicator in some way? Because it works great for that.
Just wondering if they are all the same or if I have to alter something in some way.
