Sako S20 vs Cadex CDX-R7 CRBN? Is it worth it?

I have handled the sako s20 and don’t like it. It’s probably a good gun but it just felt plasticky to me and that is a huge turn-off.

Tough choice you've set for yourself!

Had a custom cadex build in the past, absolutely great from the bench but thats what it was meant for. No hunting with a 15lb build.

S20 is great. Took it out on one hunt so far, held up nicely during its fielding. Have both stocks and like the interchangeability between target and hunter setups. Hunter stock is wildly comfortable if you're RH. I have the .308 with 20in barrel and have had very little to complain about regarding accuracy. As another post said it seems to be hit or miss with different owners, pun intended.

Tried my hand at painting it and enjoy it even more now.

I know this further muddies the water, but if I were to get a chassis for hunting instead of a full Cadex, what about the MDT HNT26 chassis?
