Never heard of the TSR previous to your add. A CTR in a chassis from the factory? Wish I knew about it before buying a CTR and putting it in a chassis.... the factory tikka TSR looks GREAT.

Are you planning on bringing in the T3 Tac A1? If so how does it stack up to the TSR? I know the TSR is based on the T3 CTR and the Tac A1 on the T3X Tac but confirmed specs seem hard to come by. Can you confirm the TSR is using the 10rd steel TRG mags.

These T3's are in the running for my next buy but info and reviews, especially for the TSR, are few.

Thanks.

Not the vendor, but I do love them (and my) Tikkas.

Both the TSR and A1 use the 10 round steel mags.

The TSR uses the semi heavy barrel, 3 round sub MOA guarantee. The A1 has the heavy match barrel, 5 round sub MOA guarantee. (both rifles will put down sub MOA 10 round groups. I've shot them side by side in the ctr/tac form)

The TSR has bottom rails to attach barricade stops. Both have top rails (0 MOA).

The TSR is EXTREMELY limited (400 units.), the A1 is a production rifle. You might not get a chance to buy a TSR if Prophet has already sold theirs.

A1 has a 2 stage trigger. TSR is a single stage.

The TSR comes with 1 mag, the A1 with 2/3. Those are $200 a pop.

Both are very similar. The A1 will weigh more, and the bottom rail on the TSR means easy add ons for barricade stops. But the TSR-1 name is a bad ass. "Tikka Sniper Rifle - 1"
