Sako trg 22 owners

if you want one, buy one, if you don't like it sell it, they are easy to sell as there are so few around and can't be beat. Best out of the box precision rifle period. I have two, but am a long ways from montreal.

What dizzy said. I live out west so shooting it won't work but I have a TRG 22that shoots better than 2 custom rifles I have that cost much more. You won't be disapointed with a TRG 22. Hope that helps.

TRG22 in 308 do shoot very nice, and very accurate, some what of a short lead in the chamber, but not as short as Savage.

I bought one about 4 weeks or so ago ( black stealth model from site sponsor The Shooting Edge ) and I have a Near mount and Near brake. I didn't bother with the Sako bipod - I got a Harris adapter and Harris bipod.

It isn't the most accurate .308 that I have - that honour goes to my Kimber Tactical - but it is getting there and I'm still working on finding the right load for it. What this rifle does exceptionally well is make tight groups in 'quick fire' ( no waiting between shots ) and has produced a ten shot 1.2 MOA hole when fired as fast as I could operate the bolt. With the brake on it recoils like a .223 and it is,for sure,a whole lot of fun to shoot. As a previous poster said, buy one - if in the unlikely event you don't like it then sell it.
