Well we finally received our TRG 42 order, as well as some more TRG 22s.

TRG 42 338LM Black/Phosphate $3950 (very limited number)
TRG 22 308 Win, Green/Phosphate $3200
TRG 22 308 Win, Black/Phosphate $3200

Ooo man, I have the TRG 42 338LM in the list of 10 guns that I plan to buy but unfortunately I'm not ready yet. I'm waiting to acquire gun no. 6. The Sako is a bit down the line (few months). I hope one is available then, maybe the next shipment?

Since about a year ago, all TRG-42's in .338 Lapua are 1 in 10 twist. They are marked on the barrel. The 1 in 12 is still available as an option, but will likey be phased out.

Today, it seems as though everyone wants to run 300 gr. Sierras or new 300 gr. Lapuas which have fantastic ballistic co-efficients in the .700-.800 range. To keep those bullets stabilized properly you need a 1/10" barrel to do so with any degree of reliability.

When the TRG 41's and 42's first came on scene, the best bullet on the market was the 250 gr. Lapua Scenar or Lock-Base bullets. Those bullets generally require no more than 1/12" to stabilize.
