AV 7mm
Heres my AV 7mm rem Mag, aquired 2 years ago BNIB From Elwood epps, there was absolutely no marks not even cycle marks on the bolt. the wood was very dry and had been forgotten about in the back of the store room. she wears a Schmidt and bender 4-16 classic, awsome combination and my go to rifle for everything.

Nice to se all the different Sako' pics! I wish I was technically able to post pics, but my brain don't work that way, here is a list of what I have:

I've always admired the L and A series Sakos and I've owned about 20 over the years.
Now down to these two. Sometimes I think I should grab a nice L61R or an AV and have one of each action size.

I had one in the early 90's. Full stock AV in 375H&H. It pulled the stock apart as these ones had a two piece stock. I sent it to The importer who does warranty and got it back with a note. Only shoot factory ammo! I got a box of Green Remington 270gr RN of the shelf and put 10-12 through it and it was wrecked again. If it was now I would fix it myself but back then I didn't know what to do. I traded it off. It was an amazing gun to shoot but the stock design was poor. I shot it for a while with no front wood on it. Thought about putting a tip on it.
Now those new Bavarian full stocks are sweet. That might get me going Sako again. I have seen a few customs built on Sako and all were very nice.

Here's my re-done m995. Chambered it in 7mm STW.
Not much left of a Sako, but that's where it started.
Picked up another Sako last week, should be here this coming week. Will post photos when it arrives.

A fairly recent Sako addition to my 'group' is a Sako A III in .270Win. Hasen't seen any field use this year but hopefully I'll be able to correct that next fakk.
