SALE: LCW Non-Corrosive 7.62x39 FMJ

Just ordered a case last night. Has anyone tried this stuff in an SKS with free floating firing pin? I've heard even if your pin/channel are thoroughly cleaned the new made stuff has a softer primer which can result in slam fires.

Yes, used it and some Bernaul FMJ at the range last weekend. No issues.

My SKS is stock, my firing pin floats freer than the wind due to serious cleaning on my part and has had zero issues. Only shot three boxes of each so perhaps this isn't the best sample rate, but no issues with either.

Just got my case of 7.62x39 HP this morning never tried steel cases in my XCR before will see what happens. The box is marked LCW made in the Ukraine.

Hp worked well in my XCR. No shooting issues. Cloverleaf at 50m. Hoping to have fmj by Friday to test.

mfs Russian fmj shoot good.

does a magnet stick to the projectile at all? i need to know before i can order it, if the magnet sticks it is a no go for my range

We are wanting to order several cases (our first order ever for a firearms online company) but want to speak to someone at Canam first, have a couple questions. Been trying to call last several days but phone line says not available and all of the extensions just have a beep. Please can someone reply in how to get a hold of you (@ Canam) so we can proceed with this order and also don't want to miss this deal.

Thanks

I doubt it is corrosive. Wait until Canam verifies. Being this is newly made amunition made in a plant that as far as I know only makes non-corrosive ammo makes this very unlikely corrosive ammo. I just bought some but have not tested yet.

Just my opinion.

We apologize as we had a couple guys sick in the shipping department last week so it became an "all hands on deck" situation and phones became last priority (because we think customers want their stuff more than us answering the phones).

Best is always to email and in this case you can email paul@canadaammo.com and you'll receive an answer generally very quickly. If I don't have the answer(s) for you I will get them or have someone give you a call.

Thank you.

Is this lead core???
Their JHP 7.62x39 clearly mentions that it is lead core, but what about the FMJ???

Received my case of FMJ and did the 'magnet test'. A magnet is strongly attracted to the bullet. Could it be a combination of steel tip or sleeve over lead core, or even no lead at all?

I would very much like to see a longitudinal section of the FMJ bullet cut along the centerline from nose to tail. Not equipped to do it myself. Any volunteers?

I pulled a few FMJ's for a primer test and the back end of FMJ's are open, and it looks like lead to me. The magnets attracted because it's a bi-metal jacket if I'm not mistaken.
