I wonder why people have a rod up their a$$ about this kind of thing. There are thousands of threads on this site. If a guy scans the first 20 of them and doesn't find the info he's looking for then why jump down his throat. If you have a serious enough issue with this than take the time to find ALL the duplicate threads in the forums and recommend their deletion to the mods. Otherwise sit back and enjoy the show. Maybe offer up some of your exerience to the guy since he is obviously looking for knowledge and opinions.

To the OP look at the thread that should be recently commented on about 1911's in 9mm. They mention the SAM but also mention others that seem to be better liked.
