SAM Omega 6 .40 First Impressions/100 Round Review

I haven't done much to mine and it runs great now, and is quite accurate (.40).
Polished the feed ramp, got a custom built bushing from EGW that is much tighter fit then the OEM one, new firing pin and heavier recoil spring. It shoots 180's the best for me. Quite happy with it for a plinker and my first .40

well you got lucky, mine and my friends both wont run worth crap with factory ammo and factory mags.

.40 is a pain to get to work properly in a 1911 and I consider this a good platform for an IPSC gun (why I bought it) but wouldn't recommend it to anyone who just wanted a gun for plinking

I was considering the Omega 6 in .40 because it is, what, $200.00 cheaper than the 9mm, but I am glad I went with the 9mm. I love it, it's my favorite, never gives me a problem.
