Just recently heard of this company. I have read some good and some bad. Anyone have personal experience with one of their 1911s? I have yet to handle one myself but I will definitely give it a try for the price.

Do a search on here, lots of threads 99% positive they are very well received around here. Probably still the best bang for your buck 1911 and I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. We've owned a couple of them and never had any issues at all in fact I'm eye Ballin another one.

I own a 1911 Military Enhanced in 9mm, Dad owns a 45 ACP commander, friends had one.

Quality is better than a norc, less rattles, tight fitting, well machined. The recoil springs on them is light normally gotta upgrade. I know my 9mm one was like 10-12lbs. Normally needs a extractor tune. My friends one dent brass once a mag and spring got to the point where needs to bump the slide forward.

The 9mm extractor on the SAM is different then any other 1911 out there. I put 400 + thru mine and not really that much issues.

Good to hear. I am looking at the 9mm myself.

Good to know. Can't beat the price for a stainless steel 1911

Only shot one once......was a well put together pistol....would be more than happy to have one in the safe...

I have a 9mm gi and I couldnt go 2-3 rounds without and extraction issue. Contacted wolverine and they said send it in free of charge. Just got it back and now it runs like a champ. Wouldnt be afraid to buy another from them. They stand behind their products.

I have one. It is accurate but I had several problems requiring correction. When I first got it, it had to go back to the store. The front sight blade had to be replaced (it was too high) and the ejection port had to be machined (severely dented brass and stove pipes). Lately the hammer drops when I #### it. I am going to have to replace the hammer/sear.

My 1911 Norinco, however, right out of the box, has never had a malfunction. I've fired thousands of rounds through it. Great gun. Best $500 I ever spent (gun plus 1000 rounds of ammo). It is not as accurate as the SAM but it works.

ive got 2 and they are flawless so far.
my dad has 2 as well and he loves them, he went with the smaller ones, the commander and the officer sized ones.
little too small for my liking.

i snagged up one of the stainless ones last year and i must admit i bloody love that gun.
makes me wanna put on a purple shirt and a leopard print hat and go run my stable.

some pics?
certainly, im here to please.

Too bad they didn't make the Titan in .40, I'd love to convert it to a 10mm and install a full profile comp to it. Make it a comped 10mm with the same dimensions of a 5"

I've had 2 SAM 1911A1's. Sold the first one because I needed the cash. The guy I sold it to liked it so much he didn't want to sell it back to me after he told me he would. So I gladly bought a new one!

cool experience! thanks for sharing! not trying to be nosy but its a bit odd a Canuck Gunnut wandering that part of town.. lol! bet you its cheaper their price down there than you're up here.. ;)

why would it be odd?
i know lots of people who have immigrated from the Philippians to Canada and they go back all the time to visit.
id assume that fella fits that bill.

now if he some overweight farmer from Brooks, AB and just headed down there camera in hand then ya that would be odd.

Love that Thunderbolt..

i find myself rocking it to sleep in my arms from time to time when no one is looking.
i swaddle it in a lint free cloth and sing a little song to it to help it sleep before i tuck it away into its crib (gun cabinet) for the night.

shhhh shhh shhh daddys got you.
