Watching it now, and must say I enjoy seeing how the hunting is in your neck of the woods!

With the hinds, did you just take the backstraps? And with the stag, that's incredible that he was previously shot some time ago & survived. When you shot him, would you rather have had the 35 Whelen over the 7-08? And are the sambar an invasive species? (I didn't google it, chuckle.)

Thanks & congrats on the successful hunts!

Cheers

Jay, I took the Rear legs and backstraps of the 2nd Hind, juist the Straps of the first hind and just the Cape and Head of the stag. quite a lucky run really and not somethin I would do out in the Forest, but behind private land is different...

I'm going to try get more footage of the Sambar hunt itself in the winter, I got a Fallow video coming up with a lot more live critters.

in that Moment encounter with the Stag, 100% .35 Whelen country, Up close an Personal, with heavy bullet to penetrate the Angle I shot. but the Safety is what has been letting me down on the Kimber, its loud an they know whats goin on..

Pest, not 100%, but close too... still a Game Animal with rules an Regs.. they keep edging them closer to pest species which would mean... any way, any how.

Cheers for watching

Great hunt WL, enjoyed it very much. Nice to see areas around the globe.

When I think Australia, heat comes to mind. Issues with meat spoilage? I usually dont hunt unless there is less than 10 Celcius.
