same cartridge?

Hello,I was wondering is the 7.62x39 russian the same cartridge used in the sks.I've only ever used the norinco ammo from china and am curious if it is the same...thanks............J

Sure is. It is also known as 7.62 M43

Yup, and methinks the good old M43 Soviet is the most prolific cartridge in the world.
Back during the cold war it was made by several Soviet satellite states, and China, so there is a allot out there, and in a wide variety of date stamps, etc.
