Yes ww-540 and 571 are long gone but hs 6 is in fact ww-540 and hs-7 is ww-571, there was always hints of this but now that the winchester label of these are gone they have made public this fact. I have cut out and saved two different articles that mentioned this. Now if we could only shoot lead for ducks again, these powders made some of the best duck loads going, when teamed with good hard west coast shot. As far as I know hogdons has never made powders but has got all of thier powders from other sources . now they own IMR this may change down the road.
