If you contact Hodgdon powder they will be able to tell you as they also make Winchester powder.

Actually, Hodgdon makes NO powders at all. They market powders made by several other manufacturers, one of which happens to be Winchester (Olin)
H110 and W296 are basically indistinguishable from one another in any application I have used them. [Magnum Pistol Loads] Regards, Eagleye.

I located a bit of data for 3/4 oz loads in 3" .410 in both Rem + Fed cases in Lyman #4 shotgun manual.the factory 3/4 oz loads knock the snot out of grouse compared to the 1/2 + 11/16 oz loads.............Harold * I have a near full 8 lb can of Win 296 I used to use in my .22 Hornet way back when ,I'd like to put to use!

Get a 44 mag!:D;):p

Yes, W296 and H110 are the same burning rates. I have interchanged them in the 44 mag and chronographed them. Same, doesn't matter which you use.

Just makin sure. Same as Win 571 + HS7 I use for hot 1 oz loads in my 20ga 2.75" Designed for 12 +10 bores but crackin in a 20ga.........Thanx......Harold

H-110 and Win 296 aren't the same, but are very close. They're number 49 and 50, respectively, on Hodgdon's burn rate chart. Both were developed for the .30 Carbine, originally.
Hodgdon's site gives 3/4 oz, lead shot(only) data with H110, using 3" Win Super-X HS plastic shells.
