Had some questions, so took some pics today. This is how to install the Samson rail without removing the barrel.

I just recently installed a MRFS-CX-EBR (like the second pic above, but with rail under the FSB as well) and it was EASY.

I had already removed the delta ring assembly and ground down the FSB, and install of the rail took less than 10 minutes. And most of that was making sure the top rail aligned with the receiver.

The rail unit one SICK piece of kit. Very high quality, and is rock solid when installed. ZERO movement of any kind.

Very sweet looking rifle. Those Samson rails are the best. Easy to install and they look great afterward. Glad to see someone else take power tools to a brand new upper.

Hey folks.

If anyone decides they want to install one of these on their rifle, but doesn't want to take a dremel to it...feel free to contact me.

I've done a number of barrel changes on AR's, I have the proper vises and wrenches to do so if you need help.

^^^ Nice offer NS. :)

We can install here without the dremel, but did have a few questions about doing it without pulling the barrel, thus the 'no specialized tools' demo.

Another partial factor is for those with LH uppers, these don't fit into RH action blocks. We have a custom block for the lefties, but they're not (yet?) available for general purchase.

Cheers,
Walt
