Samson Star-R rail system

I've been thinking about getting a Samson Star-R rail system for my AR build but there isn't much for reviews online or in the forum. Has anyone here used this product or know anyone thats using it. I'm sure it's a good product but would still like to hear some feed back from people who have tried it.

Ive been looking alot lately at Samson, and have been in contact with them regarding shipping up here.

The STAR - C - M - R length rails from what I can see are very similar to the Daniel Defense Omega Rails.

Clamping to the barrel nut area I think are different, but I "Think" they share the same oval profile.

Taller top/bottom, but slimmer width for comfort.

However, they are expensive. DSTactical has them for over $300.

For the same sort of thing, Id maybe lean towards Daniel Defense.

Have you looked at their Evolution line yet?
