Here's the chart of final results. Canada was on top in the semi finals, with our second shooter team in something like 4th place, but the US snuck in on top, unlike, you know, in real life.

Edit: I did not mention that the Canadian teams were from CMR Saint-Jean (3rd) and RMC Kingston (4th).

It gets even better when you look at the history of the competition since 2005....

First Place Winners By Year:

2005 - Royal Military College of Canada
2006 - Royal Military College of Canada
2007 - Royal Military College of Canada

2008 - Sandhurst Red
2009 - Royal Military College of Canada
2010 - Sandhurst A
2011 - USMA B-3
2012 - Royal Military College of Australia - Duntroon
2013 - Sandhurst Blue
2014 - Sandhurst Blue
2015 - Sandhurst Red
2016 - Royal Military College of Canada
2017 - USMA Black
2018 - United States Air Force Academy
2019 - USMA Black
2020 - No Competition (COVID)
2021 - USMA Black
2022 - United States Air Force Academy
2023 - USMA Black (Canada Ninth)
2024 - USMA Black (Canada Second)

West Point dominated Sandhurst for the first three decades, winning every single year from 1967 through 1992. That streak was broken in 1993, the first year a non-West Point team competed, and a British team came from across the pond to ultimately triumph in the military skills competition that takes place annually on the Hudson River.

For the next 16 years, the competition was dominated by members of the Commonwealth capturing the title in the name of Queen Elizabeth II as the RMAS team won from 1993 to 2004 and the RMC-Canada won from 2005 to 2007.

RMAS and RMC-Canada went back and forth for a couple years before the gutsy upstarts from West Point’s Company B-3 finally broke through in 2011 shattering the queen's reign over the competition.

Not to be outdone, the Royal Military College of Australia - Duntroon claimed the title in 2012 bringing honor back to the crown. The Commonwealth would hold the title through 2016 with RMAS and RMC-Canada winning the titles.

West Point emerged victorious in 2017, but its hold on the title was short lived when a twist in the competition caught competitors off guard as the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) fought their way to victory in a competition that tests ground combat skills. Way to fight Falcons!

In 2019, West Point claimed the top two spots in the competition. The USMA Black team took home the prized saber as the top team with West Point's Company D-2 nipping at their heals in second. Finally, in 2023, USMA Black clinched 1st place, USMA Gold clinched 2nd place, and the U.S. Air force Academy secured 3rd place. Last year, USMA Black was a repeat for 1st place, followed by Canada-Kingston in 2nd place, and U.S. Air force Academy secured 3rd place once again.

Not bad. Could be better if they grew up with M4A1's in their hands like Texas boys.
Texas came in 5th. Just because you grew up with guns, doesn't mean you can shoot worth ####. Got beat by Jr officers and people on basic.

Best shooters I seen were female and people that didnt grew up with guns. Because women don't got a ego, and novices dont got bad habbits. Can train them right.

My CSM was 5 times queen medal shooter. Then I know of 5 others that got hoisted up in the chair. 2 were in the Navy lol

Niiice.

I just notice that Americans do REALLY well often.

I follow all the events somewhat.

And? Bigger popular, They invest more money and send more teams/people. So they got more cards in the deck.

But what county set the longest kill record? Canada
bro relax. These events are like who can do pull ups and jump in mud and row a boat. Ive done an absolute ton of them and won quite a few. You get a solid group of fit motivated dudes you win. Theres no crazy national advantage Canada has other than the fact we usually just send fit people who want to do it. Many US teams are forced to compete or dont really give a sh!t, just like how when americans come to canada and we have to field more teams, we have a bunch of pumps competing also. Good job to all who placed well, this stuff is more for fun and improving international relations, nobody serious considers it an indication of the quality of your entire force lol. This is also an all officer cadet match, which makes the saber rattling over it even more hilarious to sane individuals.

Didn't know anything about these events. Sounds lame.

Ukraine has more records nowadays unfortunately.

14.5mm necked down to 750 AMAX.

Canada does indeed have some great records.

Talking to more a couple snipers who doubt that supposed 3800 meter shot. There was no independent confirmation of the shot. The only proof was a shaky video that MIGHT show a kill shot. The 3540 meter shot by the JTF2 guys was practised a LOT just for that one specific shot at a known distance.
