Sanding down a HS stock?

Well, ive come to realize that the stock on my Sendero isnt all that i hoped for. The very tip of the comb is in the way of my thumb and a perfect grip. I have large hands and long fingers, so, in order for me to get a grip on things, i need to get rid of this area. Anyone know if they are hollow up there or not? i dont want to have a huge hole in my stock if i sand it off.

The HS stock is a Kevlar shell w/foam inside. You can reshape/cut it down, you'll need to refill afterwards . Its a pretty simple task. I've known guys to use autobody filler or similar product. Just sand it smooth and refinish.

But to answer your question, No, the stock is not hollow.
