Sorry guys no plans for drum mags. Drum mags are complicated, bulky, expensive, and interfere with your forearm when trying to pump

Advantage of the SAP6 over a KSG would be that you'd be able to keep mags loaded (but stored seperately of course). The 14 rounds in a KSG lets you rock n roll, but after those 14 you've got some downtime reloading that thing - it ain't easy. A mossy 500 or rem 870 are pretty easy to reload the magazine tube, but with the KSG magazine tube's opening so close to the shoulder and recessed in the ejection port, reloading the KSG isn't quick or easy.

Further, instead of 14, this would offer 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 + 11... with quick reloads as easy as changing mags.

The consideration for me would be the LENGTH of those 11 rd mags. Are they double-stack? That might make 'em crazy fat, but at least cut that length down a bit. If they're ridiculously long then you get other issues to deal with such as being impossible to use prone, will catch on stuff, etc.

Definitely would like to see a photo of those 11 round mags with the firearm for size comparison.

Also, I assume that the 11.5" barrel does not come threaded for chokes (it's only cylinder bore) - is this correct?

You make valid and informative points! I guess another plus would be that the SAP6 is cheaper than the KSG as well. We really do need to see pics of the 11 round mags in the gun to make a determination.
 
What would need to be done to the mag to take this out hunting, If I'm not mistaken were not allowed to have more than 3 (maybe 4) shells in the shotgun while were out hunting, can you buy plugs or something to limit it or would you be allowed to just only load 3 into the mag when hunting?
 
I just ordered two of the new 11 round mags. I also requested the new safety switch be included in the shipment since I can’t even use the safety on my SAP 6 currently because it jams so bad. Can’t wait to try the new mags.

I have ran thousands of target load through my KSG, hundreds of 00 buck and slugs(1/4 was 3") and it has not had a single issue.

Only cleaned it once when I first got it and just squirted some G96 in to the action every once and a while.

In agreement with Onetwenty...

We each have one and the only time there was a jam was when I first used it and didn't cycle it hard enough. Whenever I was gentle with her, she would not feed properly. Cycle hard and she takes the load fine. It is true that it is almost impossible to load without "taking a knee" and looking down the tubes. It's just too snug to do it from standing or prone but maybe that's an operator issue not the machine.
