The buttplate seems to be part of the lower receiver, meaning it would be unable to fire without it.

2 issues, It would almost certainly be classed as an AK variant and I doubt South Africa would allow any to be sold to civilians.

Absolutely and positively NO civilian sales.

Apparently they just elected a shooting President, so maybe that will change but I doubt it.

I found it to be a very smooth shooting rifle. Trigger is a a bit mushy, selectory switch is a push button at the rear. Intergrated optics is a 1.5x much like the AUG. Has a intergated red LAD in the foregrip like what the Tavor has with a MARS sight.

It is however not a lefty rifle due to the fact they put a heavy kevlar plate in the back.

But Singapore is one of the worst gun friendly nations. They do not do civy sales.
