I have a shooting buddy that tried a short (22".?) barreled Sarasqueta 12G out while we were up north on our annual Grouse trip. He WANTS one.!!! I purchased it new from Le Baron in 1985 for around $230 and at that time they did a longer barrel version as well for the same money . The overall quality is very good with acceptable wood to metal fit. If anyone knows the whereabouts of one, he would like to know. Thanks, Tony
 
I bought a 28" barrel version back in, I think it was, 1989. This shotgun is awesome. Mine is a full choke over modified. I have shot hundreds of rounds through mine, and last weekend I shot a rabbit with it. Does yours have a ventilated rib? Mine has a rifle-style front bead and a rounded "notch" at the rear. Would not part with it for anything.

Have you tired slugs in that shotgun - if so, how does that group? Please share an image when you are able to displaying the sights on the bbl.

Tradex does have a few O/U's. Not many in comparison to their selection of SxS's. Mostly Bakail's and Husquvarnas.
I picked up a really nice Merkel from them for Christmas. A little something from me to me. Definitely check them out if you are looking for a double barrel gun.

No, the one that I got and now owned by one of my buddies, only has the normal shotgun front bead but does have a vent rib. My buddy feels the same as you do about it, he is NOT going to sell it but my other buddy wants one BAD.!!!!!
