SARSILMAZ B6C - update july30 2nd page

So got it in a week or so ago. I haven't had a chance to fire it yet, but hopefully will have a chance this week. So here are some of my intial thoughts and impressions.

Keep in mind 1911's are my go to gun, but the "plastic" pistols I have the most experience with are S&W M&p's, have had glocks (but its been a while) and FNS40L. Have had other polymers but been so long I cant really remember what they felt like.

Pistol comes in a pretty basic case with manual, cleaning brushes and 2 mags.

First off, it feels solid. Small but solid. It is a compact frame, so without the mag in you really notice the lack of grip. With the other polymers it always felt like I was holding something light but top heavy. Due to the design it doesn't feel that way.

Ergos are really nice, even with my short fingers. Better feel than the glock and FN. M&P felt good but always felt like something was missing in the front of the grip. This does not. It terms of how grippy it is... Its plastic. Texture is there but will most likely be adding grip tape.

Trigger isnt bad at all. Not gritty at all but heavier than the regular striker fired pistols.. Single action is close to 5lbs, and can only guess to the DA trigger pull.. But it isnt bad at all, noticeably lighter than the alpa proj revolver I had. I'm sure both will be much better after some trigger time and touching up.

Sights are 3 dot. Nice and visible. Hope the pictures will show well. The finish on the slide looks really nice, and the barrel is super shiny. Feed ramp is nicely polished and feels awesome.

As for the manual, it's really nice, they did not skip out on it. Exploded views and parts list of all their models

As for pulling the hammer down for a DA start, it should be a non issue. I found it very easy to manipulate and set into DA even without using a support hand. Lots of surface area to hold onto the hammer with support hand.

If I had to list some cons;
Trigger pull weight, which isnt that bad.
Safety is super stiff, which wont be used much if at all
Grip texture is not as nice or as aggressive as I would like.

Congrats....interesting...never heard of this manufacturer before...look forward to your rr...

25yrds, umc 115 9mm, with my crappy skills lol.. More info to come

Shot appx 110rnds total.. Sights are like combat sights, cover what you wanna hit. Gun doesnt feel slick in the hands like I thought it might.. FNS40L felt very slick in comparison.

Did not feel the need to regrip the pistol like I did with the m&P9 and 40. That or it wasnt enough to notice. Also recoil did not feel as snappy as it did with m&p9. Very manageable.

Pistol felt sturdy in hands throughout. No mag issues, FTE or feed. But only 110rnds.

Now that I know it works fine I will start pulling it apart to hopefully lighten the trigger pull. Next week I should have some shadow mags to test in it as well. I know they fit and hold open fine but have not fired with any yet

I imagine that tanfoglio parts and springs work in it. U could polish up parts to smooth out the da.

Range trip number 2.. Pretty cool morning around 9/10*C with chilly breeze. Another 200rnds fired no issues even after changing hammer spring and cutting in down some. DA trigger pull is much lighter now. Actually moves the hammer at appx 7lbs and SA now sits at 4.5-5lbs appx.

Also fired 50rnds of 124gr AE ammo which shot much lower.. I also used some CZ75 mags and all worked without issue, they just stick out and look out of place.. But not an issue for me.

Over all, Im really liking this pistol so far

Was out this morning again testing it and also the sr9 that I just got used. Another 100 rnds down range and 50 from the sr9. Learned I dislike the sr9 sights, mainly cause its not what Im used to, but otherwise no issue.

If the B6c, I learned that if I baby the slide action with cz mags it will sometimes hang up, but 100% reliable while firing.

Above is the first mag shot in B6c and best Ive ever done. I'll measure some of the circle to give a better idea for the target size.

Also, I have replaced the hammer spring with a 13lbs wolf spring for S&W revolver hammer spring before this range trip. Did not have to cut or mod anything to make it work.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it and what kind of price range, I like the size and look of the gun a lot, might just be my next purchase:) I think I have to start researching this a bit more, lol

Thought Id update this since its been a while.

Ive put another 3-4hundred rnds through the pistol since last time.. Trigger has smoothed out alot along with the safety that never really gets used.

Pistol has performed very well with no function issues of its own. I do have 1 mag out of the 10 I use that will sometimes hang up the slide when loading and softly racking the slide. Never during shooting.

Also used the pistol for an ipsc match today, again no ftf ejectect or any malfunctions at all.

Accuracy is better than I am. But I have an easy time shooting this pistol, feels great the hands like I've mentioned before.

I may put some grip tape on a couple areas where it would help.

Thread revival time. Finally took my B6P out to try my left hand shooting since Shoulder surgery has left the right arm fugazi right now. I bought this gun a couple years ago when I had the CZ craving and the Norinco bank account. What a nice surprise. Only put 46 rnds through it but I love this little gun. Great grip for small hands and nice thin, trim design. I must admit that last year I took a friend's wife to the range and let her try it with some Winchester ammo that had a conical bullet and she got frustrated after 3 FTFs per mag....same result for me so back in the safe it went until today. Today I was shooting some dirt cheap steel cased Barnaul roundnose crap and it delivered. Zero malfunctions and as accurate as I am. Perfect fit in the hand for me and light without causing stovepipes. These aren't rated for +P ammo but I wouldn't shoot +P in an auto without changing recoil spring tension anyway so no issue there. All in all, I would pick this over my old M&P any day.
