I recently purchased a Sarsilmaz Mega for my wife as she likes my CZ Shadow 2 but didn't want me spending that much on her. The problem is that she wants thinner grips and a simple (non locking) holster for use at the club and maybe future competition shooting. I have looked at accessories for the TZ, old Witness, Jericho Springfield P09, And AR-24 as I have been told that they are similar (or alternate market model) but wanted to know if anyone has tried anything before I order something that might need a lot of modification.
I have thought of making grips for her but she likes the look of the Tanfoglio TZ or CZ grips. I wonder if TZ grips would fit without modification? Hogue has some nice ones.
I was thinking of slightly reforming my CZ Shadow holster for her as it is very close to fitting, but if there is something on the market why change a good holster. All that I see online for this gun is military style holsters but that is to be expected for a military/police gun.
It is a really nice 9mm for the money. The rubber grips feel good to me (too large for her) and shoots nice groups with no jams. So far we only have about 200 rounds of Blazer Brass and Winchester White box through it. It likes my shadow magazines so finding spares are not a problem and the white dot sights makes it easy to get on target.
Any suggestions for grips/holster would be appreciated.
