My partner and I just got drawn for moose after 13 years in Super A. We are picky about the area, but ....... During that time we know people who were drawn multiple times.
With modern computers there is no reason for a "Pool" system at all. There could easily be a system whereby every year you get more likely to be drawn until you are, then back to the bottom of the list and work up again. That way you KNOW you will get drawn eventually. There is no need for some lucky guys to get more tags than others. We should all be talking to department people whenever we get a chance to try to change the draw system. Last year, after we were not drawn for the 12th time, I emailed the minister and was told he was unaware of any "issues" that hunters felt needed to be fixed. Maybe he should know.

I put in for moose in my Zone and didn't get drawn but then I didn't expect to. Two years ago I was drawn. I checked my status and I am now back to A pool. Maybe in a couple more years.
I have been reading the posts from people in the super A pool for years and still no tag. I can only speculate they are trying for tags in zones where there are very few to be had.

Maybe, and maybe not.
If you check the Stats from 2014 which are posted on SK GOV website, most zones are oversubscribed by Super A pool applicants.

Well me and my son got moose for zone 10
Was in super A for 5 years..
Been in super A for elk for as long as I can remember ....but then I only put in for cypress so chances will take a long time.
No mule deer this year tho, super A for it as well.
Can't wait as first time for son to go for moose...he is 16!

I got moose. It was my first year applying. Unlike all the guys on here who are complaining about never getting drawn. I went and looked at application numbers for the zones I wanted. I filled the card with a couple of antlerless at the bottom. I figured correctly that I would get drawn in either elk or moose alter less. Than again I don't put my name in a zone that draws for 5 tags and has 30000 people in super A.

Antlerless moose in zone 41. Nice hunt right at home in settled country. Looking forward to it!

got antlerless mule deer today. I guess I'm very lucky as this is my very first year and got drawn for elk and mule deer. Let the fun begin
Almost all antler less mule deer zones drew from the B and C pools in 2014. This being your first year you'd be in A pool so you getting drawn for that would be expected. That was a good draw for the elk however as most of the elk zones drew from super A. Do you mind if I ask what zones you put down.
