Sask big game draw results are out

I'd like to see preference points beyond just everyone being the same at Super-A. I've been Super-A for antelope since the 90s. Something to think about is the non-resident Canadian whitetail draw. Non-residents with relatives in Saskatchewan have a real advantage in the draws over people who don't. I'm not saying we should have more than one kind of resident, but is that any stupider than there being more than one kind of non-resident?

I totally see your point but it allows me to go hunting in SK with my dad who will not be hunting much longer. Whitetail in 34.

I don't have a problem with that, if anything I agree with it. People from here and with firm ties should have a higher priority than some random Canadian that heard that we have some decent deer here and there. Someone coming home to hunt with their family is close to the only way it should be allowed. It used to piss me off when non residents could buy over the counter tags in my province (but I can't touch their sheep, goats,caribou,grizzlies,musk-ox or whales)

I'd like to see it go to a point system like Alberta has. Serm has pool status for 10+ years that they could use for a point system.

Not a single tag for me this year, I'll do regular season moose and whitetail.

Our hunting party of 4 has never been drawn for moose and this year it came through for us. We were drawn in wmz 25 which is pretty cool as last year I think there were only 35 tags available. Not sure what this years quota is.

My 14 year old and I got muley's in 46. Was my last zone choice because it was a sure thing to draw out of super A, and I want to take the kid at least once before he leaves home. Just can't seem to get drawn in the SW.
Never hunted over there but willing to put in some time. Would love to get a few tips from a local for a starting point/expectations. Have decent regular season elk here if interested in a hunt swap.
