Absolutely nothing this year. Entered for everything, and in super a for almost everything. I am now in legacy pool for moose. Still waiting on antelope.

I will be going regular season moose and elk though.

possibly zone 73 but no forest left up there fires wiped out everything

That sucks...I hadn't looked at the newest hunters guide yet. Completely removed zones 55-59...

I have some young sons who just started hunting. 12 and 13. I was disappointed they reduced the mule deer antlerless tags. I heard Serm had done a major cull in the winter. This reduces my kids ability to get some time on big animals and sharpen up clean ethical kills. Serm should have had the foresight and increased draws for youth instead of hiring a marksman to shoot them presumably from a helo.

There are plenty of over the counter opportunities for your sons. As someone who spends a considerable amount of time hunting over several zones, I can tell you that the mule deer herd has gotten the crap kicked out of it in my parts of Central Sask. Your sons will thank today's management in the future when they can still hunt mule deer.

As for this deer cull, no mention of it anywhere. Latest cull would've been in the winter of 2021 in Manitoba near the Saskatchewan border.
