SaskTactical Shooters IDPA comes to Saskatchewan

We are new and just getting things going. Our new website should be up and running by the end of next week and can be found at sktactical.ca

It will have all the info you need as who to contact, when and where we are shooting, etc.

where by Regina are they located? I live south of moose jaw about 100 km . I farm 3000 acres ten miles away from a town of 18 people with some great enclosed spots to shoot if you guys want to get away from the city some time or ever want to hold an event larger then your facilities can handle let me know!

Handguns by law can only be taken to approved ranges. I doubt our members could get approval for the transportation of their pistols to your farm.

This is awesome news!!!!!!!! I am in Regina and want more info please!!!!!!! I can also pass on your link when the site is up and going if you like. I know a few guys that would love to see what you have to offer!!!!!!
 
ya I know you cant shoot restricted outside approved ranges. I was trying to say is I would be willing to jump through the hoops to start an approved range. I have all the room I could want and a long time to do it,and disposable income to build it.

I was not implying everyone just come on down with a bag full of handguns....

On a positive note, there's a regular 3 gun shoot going on in PA. Once we get some organization I'm sue there will be more events to attend accross the Province.

There's a 3 gun this weekend.

FWIW I have been reliably informed that all the 'kewl' IDPA and IPSC shooters in Regina hang out at the F&GL range.....

That is one of the reasons the pistol range membership went up this year.......

That and the new indoor facility......

Does this mean I DON'T have to go to Edmunchuck or Calgrossery to get my Black badge?

Keeping this post alive I would like to inform anyone who is interested that Sask Tactical Shooters is up and running and has posted the match dates and contact info up on www.sktactical.ca. Matches are monthly at the Regina Wildlife Federation and hopefully somtime this summer we will have a Multigun Match. Hope to see some new shooters out there.
 
They are spectator friendly. By all means come down and have a chat with us during a match, were all guys who like guns and shooting. But as of right now everyone who goes on RWF property needs to be a member for insurance reasons. That said its a nice facility to shoot for less than 10 bucks a month. So please come and see if its for you!
